The Security Paper Mill Hoshangabad is a unit of Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) wholly owned by Government of India. The organization is headed by the General Manger, assisted by Deputy General Managers. Mill is functionally divided mainly into two parts i.e. production and services including maintenance (Engineering), and other supporting departments. These departments are headed by Manager ranked officers. Sub sections of these main departments are headed by Deputy Managers, Assistant managers and Technical Officers.

Man power in the mill is broadly divided into three categories 1) Industrial 2) Classified 3) Gazetted. During the partial modernization of the Mill working strength was slightly increased to meet the additional requirement. The recommendations of National Productivity Council had also been implemented since 26^th October, 1992. Presently about 1800 working employees including industrial workmen, staff and officers join their hands together for serving the nation on all seven days of a week and 24 hours of the day in round the clock pattern.
